adventure starts here

Welcome to my blog...Go Cycle Collingwood has been an ongoing idea of mine for the past few years.  Whenever I travel, it's challenging to find details about where to ride, when to ride, where to stay, where to eat,  where to get my bike repaired .... what to do after I'm done riding...the list goes on an on!  This blog was intended to provide you with everything you need to know about cycling in the Collingwood area, consider it your very own "cycling concierge service'.  I ride here every day, let me help you enjoy your cycling vacation!

The Southern Georgian Bay area has quickly become a cycling mecca in Ontario over the past several years. Collingwood is a great place to use as your home base for a cycling vacation, it offers numerous restaurants, plenty of lodging and several activities to explore "apres" ride.  Routes will take you through several municipalities over two different counties.  From April until October, witness local farmers planting their fields, apple blossoms, sunflowers growing, wheat fields being harvested and bare witness to the outstanding fall colours.  Cycling in the Collingwood area has something for everyone, make it your next cycling destination.

Collingwood is located 1o3km north of the Toronto Pearson International  Airport (YYZ) on the shores of Nottawasaga Bay.
